The Duke of Edinburgh group recently visited Nantmel school to help to tidy their playground

Ysgol Cedewain’s Pupil Deprivation Grant for 2016/2017 allocation has been confirmed at £35,469.00   As you may be aware this is a grant that is given to Schools in order to assist and invest in pupils who are in receipt of free school meals.

In-line with our School Improvement Plan we will be investing our PDG grant allocation for 2016 / 2017 as follows;

£20,469.00         Staff to provide additional classroom support

£10,000.00          Investment into our outdoor play facilities

£5,000.00            Ongoing staff training courses
